Miller — a recent guest on “The Bookshelf Conversations” — visited Cincinnati (or rather Covington, KY) to accept the coveted CASEY Award from Spitball Magazine.

Miller won for his best-selling biography, The Last Manager: How Earl Weaver Tricked, Tormented, and Reinvented Baseball.

Michael Shannon, editor of Spitball, was an even more recent BC guest.
