The Bookshelf Conversations: Scott Brick

Sometimes I am surprised at how long I’ve been doing this, a fact that came to my attention when I reconnected with Scott Brick, an award-winning audiobook narrator with whom I first chatted in 2009.

According to his bio, Brick “has narrated almost 900 audiobooks including titles such as: Jurassic Park, the Jack Reacher series, Alexander Hamilton, the Hunt For Red October, The Passage trilogy, In Cold Blood, the Bourne trilogy, Atlas Shrugged, Helter Skelter, Fahrenheit 451 and the Dune series,” not to mention several baseball titles.

Memory fails as I try to recall the purpose behind that initial “conversation” more than a dozen years ago (another indication of the evolution of the blog), but it was an entertaining and educational encounter.

The reason for the latest Conversation derives from a recent “Baseball Best-Seller” post that featured  the two different versions of an audiobook for Moneyball.
