The Bookshelf Conversations: Chris Lamb

March 25, 2021

Part three of a series featuring contributors to 42 Today: Jackie Robinson and His Legacy.

Baseball and media studies are two topics that have always captured my interest. So when they meet in a single volume, it’s a bonus.

Chris Lamb, author of Conspiracy of Silence: Sportswriters and The Long Campaign to Desegregate Baseball, is Professor of Journalism at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. Lamb also wrote Jackie Robinson: A Spiritual Biography: The Faith of a Boundary-Breaking Hero with Michael Long, who served as editor for 42 Today.

Lamb continues this track with his essay, “The White Media Missed It.”
