Hey there, all you crazy WorldCats (World Series books)

October 26, 2022

Was flattered to be asked to curate a list of books on WorldCat.org about the World Series (as well as the Phillies and Astros) in advance of this year’s Fall Classic.

Worldcat is a great source of materials available in libraries around the world. In some cases, the books are available for online reading so you hardly have to lift a finger. Better than Amazon when it comes to narrowing down searches. For example, Worldcat allows you to ignore books meant for younger readers, which Amazon does not.

My criteria was basically overviews of the Series, including some titles that came out more than 40 years ago. In addition, I included a few books about specific sets. It is by no means a complete list, but it gives a good idea of what’s out there.

Enjoy.
