David Eckstein, who enjoyed a ten-year career that included a World Series MVP award, has a new book out (made its debut on the BBS list last week) which he discusses here. Meanwhile, Hall of Famer Dave Winfield also has a new book out (official release date Sept. 15), which he discusses here.
I miss titles like The Bill James Handbook and Hardball Times, collections of stats and analysis. I would say I’m sure there will be one soon regarding ABS challenges, but given the cost of hard-copy publishing, that might not be the case.
