Chuck Berry, born in 1926 in St. Louis, MO, home of the St. Louis Cardinals (the Browns were also there at the time). He supposedly was a big fan of the Cards; he even threw out a ceremonial first pitch in 2011 and sang the National Anthem, accompanied by his daughter, prior to Game 5 of the that year’s NLCS between the Cardinals and Milwaukee Brewers.
To be fair, Berry also flip-flopped another common name when he wrote
