Maybe SI should have waited.

If they had just waited a couple of weeks, they could have included the Texas Rangers’ first world championship. (Actually, they could have included any of the teams that won the crown. Oh, well.)

Speaking of Series winner, how long will it be until someone comes out with a book about the Rangers’ victory? Like celebrity obituaries, most of the text and photos could have been assembled beforehand.

Such a venture often falls on the local newspaper that covers the team, but I wonder if the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram has the ability to handle such a task?
