They can put a man on the moon… (Amazon search)

October 27, 2020

So why can’t the folks at Amazon devise a search function that returns the results asked for?

I have been asked to submit nominations for a major baseball book award and wanted a quick reminder of what came out in 2020. Previously, I would simply do an advanced search in the books category with the keyword “baseball,” the time frame involved, and the publication date. This time I received not only non-book related merchandise, but non-baseball items as well. I know Amazon wants as much business as possible, but have some consideration for the consumer maybe?
