Aubrey Huff, who spent most of his 12-year career with the Tampa Bay Rays, is working on a book about his experiences, including his battle with depression. Rather than go the traditional route (if there is such a ting these days, with self-publishing so prevalent), Huff is looking to raise $5,000 via a kickstarter campaign. As of this writing, he’s raised almost $4,500 from 100 backers with 32 days to go, so if you want to get in on it, better hurry.
Huff, a fan favorite who also played with the Giants, Orioles, Tigers, and Astros, averaged 23 home runs and 87 RBI as a major leaguer.
