What is it, two days after the Cubs won the series and while compiling the (usually) weekly list of baseball best-sellers, there are publications about the team that weren’t even listed when I did my search for items coming down the pike (although, to be strictly accurate, I was basically looking at 2017 items).
So among the best-selling titles as of right now we have
Believe It!: Chicago Cubs World Series Champions
, by the Chicago Sun Times
- A Nice Little Place on the North Side: A History of Triumph, Mostly Defeat, and Incurable Hope at Wrigley Field
, by George F. Will, originally published in 2014
- 2016 CHICAGO CUBS WORLD SERIES PROGRAM
- Won for the Ages: How the Chicago Cubs Became the 2016 World Series Champions
, by the Chicago Tribune via Triumph
- 100 Things Cubs Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die
, by Jimmy Greenfield, originally published in 2012. If winning attending a World Series game/winning a championship is one of those things, a new edition is in order.
- Chicago Cubs: Champions at Last
, from Life Magazine.
I’m sure more are on the way. Enjoy.
