More on Grisham/Calico Joe

April 12, 2012

The author of Calico Joe is making the rounds (I hope to get him to slum a bit and grant an interview to the Bookshelf).

Here he is on CBS News, opining how half his future sales will come from e-books, a signal of the decline and fall of the physical book, and, consequently, bookstores. Here’s his turn on MSNBC with David Gregory, one of my favorites.

He was also at the Cubs-Brewers game yesterday, where he talked about his relationship with former Chicago shortstop Don Kessinger, who appears as a character in the book, with somewhat amusing results.

And, as can be expected, he was a guest on NPR’s Weekend Edition Saturday.

A review of the book from The Washington Post. And an excerpt from last week’s Sports Illustrated.
