I remember the first time I saw the book, sitting on a table at a Barnes and Noble on East 86th Street near Third Avenue. It was like at first sight. I must admit, it was one of those books that I didn’t read read. Must have thought I would gain the knowledge by osmosis.
Thirty years. Hard to believe that fans have been arguing over the value of such metrics for that long. I’m not taking one side over the other; just sayin.’
