He has also edited an annual Mets magazine published by Maple Street Press for several years and is taking a lead role in organizing involved in the three-day conference hosted by Hofstra University, April 26-28 to mark the happy event (“Happy wrap-up,” as the late Bob Murphy used to say on the radio after a win?).
We talked about his mania for the Mets and the differences between his publishing ventures.
