Get started on that “museum room”

February 21, 2011

Following an earlier post about creating a baseball room, I heard from Dave Kaplan, executive director of the Yogi Berra Museum and Learning Center, who wants to help you get started on the project.

The Museum, located on the campus of Montclair State University in Little Falls, NJ, is currently under renovation and is offering the opportunity to purchase some unique items.

From Kaplan’s e-mail:

Getting ready for its newly renovated exhibit gallery, the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center will be selling many classic photos, posters, baseball cards and other neat stuff during the weekend of Feb. 26-27 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., each day.

The vintage photos, many formerly on display in the old museum, are perfect for baseball fans and collectors of all ages.

The Museum, located on the campus of Montclair State University, is expected to reopen to the public in several weeks. The sale will be held in the recently completed atrium. For info: (973) 655-2378.

I’ll most likely be there at some point during the weekend, so if you see me, say hi and don’t be shy.
