New titles making their debut this week include Dave Jamieson’s Mint Condition; Jason Turbow and Michael Duca’s The Baseball Codes; Jim Hawkins’ bio on Al Kaline ; and Dennis Brackin’s paean to the Minnesota Twins. A couple of oldies but goodies: Zack Hample’s Watching Baseball Smarter and an overview of the game by the popular ESPN broadcaster Tim Kurkjian.
