Analysis: Baseball Prospectus and Hirsch’s Mays bio are among Amazon’s top five sports best-sellers. Klima’s book on Mays as a Negro Leaguer makes a nice bookend, so to speak, with the newer release. And while the latter is not yet on the NY Times‘ non-fiction list, I’m predicting it soon will be, as will Jane Leavy’s upcoming Mantle biography.
