The collectibles of the Times

April 4, 2016

Pride of the Yankees Movie PosterThe last page of today’s New York Times‘ art section features several wonderful baseball collectibles. The least expensive is a paperweight commemorating Derek Jeter’s 3,000th hit for $19.95 plus shipping. The most expensive: a Pride of the Yankees original movie poster for $4,950.

Other items include

  • Jackie Robinson Story original movie poster ($1,950)
  • Vintage baseball pins, ($115-595)
  • Stadium infield dirt from all 30 ballparks ($249)
  • A Yogi Berra signed and framed baseball card photo ($250)
  • A framed Yankees pennant from 1961 (($1,450)

There are lots more items listed on the website.

Anything to separate you from your money.
