So kudos to Mark Armour and Daniel Levitt whose In Pursuit of Pennants: Baseball Operations from Deadball to Moneyball got the treatment in an article titled “5 Baseball Executives You Really Should Know!”

Spoiler alert: the five include

  • Frank Cashen
  • Jim Campbell
  • John Schuerholz
  • Cedric Tallis
  • George Weiss

Perhaps it shouldn’t be too surprising that the list is heavy with New York connections.
