And although Bruce Weber wrote this review for the Dec. 5 edition of The New York Times, another one appeared in the Sunday Times book section. Sorry, maybe it’s sour grapes, but with all the books out there — including mine, yes I’ll admit it — I think it’s a bit unfair to do multiple review for the same title. Share the wealth, Times.

Here’s an AP critique of The Kid that’s making the rounds.

bbiconStepping away from Williams, Bluebird Banter, a Toronto Blue Jays “imprint” under the auspices of the Baseball Nation banner, posted this review of Paul Dickson’s award-winning Bill Veeck: Baseball’s Greatest Maverick.

bbiconSpeaking of the Blue Jays, here are reviews of Great Expectations: The Lost Toronto Blue Jays Season from the Cooperstowners in Canada site; Pumped Up Jays; Jays Journal; and Blue Jays from Far Away.
