Logo loco

When I was a kid, I used to collect — in addition to baseball cards — a set of major league logos. If memory serves — and I hope someone will correct me if I’m wrong — they were produced by Fleer and you could peel them off the card and apply them to various surfaces.

I was reminded of this pleasant pastime by Jim Caple’s column at ESPN.com that rates the logos (“not cap insignias”) from best to worst. No. 1: the Mets; no. 30, the Indians’ Chief Wahoo.
