Lest we forget: Vic Ziegel

The veteran sportswriter died Friday at the age of 72.

Ziegel wrote mostly for the New York Post and New York Daily News. Here’s the NY Times obit by Richard Goldstein.

In addition to his work at the newspapers, Ziegel was author of Summer in the City: New York Baseball, 1947-1957.
