Fitting because Terry gave up one of the most famous home runs in baseball history in that month to Bill Mazeroski in the 1960 World Series.

Terry will not be at the Southroads’ Barnes and Noble, 5231 E. 41st St. in Tulsa tomorrow from 4 to 6 p.m. Instead, the book’s co-author, former Tulsa World writer John Wooley, will be signing books that already have been pre-signed by Terry, who recovered from his 1960 disappointment to earn the 1962 World Series MVP honors.
