National Pastime Radio: Better late than never?

May 21, 2014

Should have posted this earlier. Sorry. But if you’re in the area, Willie Randolph will be at the Yogi Berra Museum tonight for a program based on his new book, The Yankee Way: Playing, Coaching, and My Life in Baseball.

Randolph was on a recent episode of The Leonard Lopate Show.

As you can imagine, I listen to a lot of these things, but the Lopate segment was one of the better ones, with the host asking some perceptive questions in addition to the standard types.

Actually, Randolph will be at the Yogi Berra Museum whether you’re in the area or not.

He was also a guest on The Steve Marlzberg Show where he complained about the lack of employment opportunities. Seems a fair point; look at all the managers hired recently that have no experience.
