The “problem” with a book like 501 Baseball Books Fans Must Read before They Die is that you have to draw the line somewhere to meet the publisher’s deadline. I was allowed some last-minute adjustments to include a handful of books that came out in 2012, but what about this year’s batch?

So many books, so little time. I’m always trying to catch up so many of the titles I’ve read in 2013 weren’t solely those that were released this year. So what do you think?

So I’m opening up the floor for “nominations.” What books that came out in 2013 would you think are “501-worthy?”

I’m really hoping for a lot of input here for a future entry (and perhaps a revised edition of the book itself), so if you’re prone to leaving comments on Facebook, for which I’m most grateful, please “cc” them as a comment to the blog as well. Merci bien.

Thanks for your thoughts, Kelly. It IS a brave topic, and should probably have been included in the original edition of 501. But again, I was looking for 2013 titles.

Hey Ron, I would include 501 Baseball Books but it might not work for you to include your own book!

Heh. Thanks, Tim. Now you’re talking some kind of time-loop sci fi circular stuff. Like looking into a long line of mirrors.
