Sage advice for All-Star Game enjoyment

With the All-Star Game and consequent Fan Fest about to take place in New York, it looks like I picked the wrong week to go on vacation…

Zack Hample, author of How to Snag Major League Baseballs: More Than 100 Tested Tips That Really Work (as well as Watching Baseball Smarter: A Professional Fan’s Guide for Beginners, Semi-experts, and Deeply Serious Geeks and The Baseball: Stunts, Scandals, and Secrets Beneath the Stitches offers some advice in this piece on “Citi Field sweet spots for catching a souvenir baseball at Home Run Derby.”

Don’t know about you, but as much as I love baseball, these home run derbies do absolutely nothing for me. I’m more interested in the celebrity softball games.
