One of the shops in Cooperstown offered old mitts and gloves for sale, perfect for displaying on your bookshelf. I’m guessing they were mostly 1940s and 1950s gear. Would have bought one, but to my mind they were a bit much.
Although not as much as this: “Jackie Robinson glove fetches $373K.” (That’s obviously not the glove pictured, since that one belonged to a lefty.)
