There’s an app for that (UPDATE)

April 4, 2012

My wife gave me a Kindle Fire for the holidays. Sorry, dear, but so far I have more apps than books, which I know was not what you intended.

I’ll have to try out some of these baseball-related items, as per this New York Times article by Bob Tedeschi. Among them are regular (i.e., full-price) and lite (i.e., free) versions of MLB’s AtBat12, as well as a few apps that would be of interest to fantasy baseball fanciers.

Unfortunately, most of these are tailored to the i[n] crowd, as opposed to my Android OS, so I’m SOL. Oh well, I have enough on the Kindle to keep me busy.

The Chicago Tribune also covered baseball apps. A fair portion of the apps covered is the same, but there are a few additions.
