♦ The Hardball Times posted this review of Mitchell Nathanson’s A People’s History of Baseball. Nathan was also a recent guest on Only a Game, which you can hear here.

The Washington Post ran this roundup of kids’ titles, which I am passing along only because I’m for anything that gets the little buggers to read.

From the Tampa Bay Times, this roundup of briefs on Calico Joe, Summer of ’68, Imperfect: An Improbable Life, and Trading Manny.

The Chicago Tribune is once again taking up The Art of Fielding with this item leading up to an April 19 “small gathering” to discuss the book.

♦Tom Hoffarth’s latest in his 30 books/30 days series is another Novel: The Might Have Been by Joseph Schuster.
