‘Tis the season for the various awards to start announcing their nominees. Surprisingly, Moneyball is up for four Golden Globe Awards, including best drama (!), actor in a movie drama (Brad Pitt), supporting actor in a movie (Jonah Hill), and best screenplay (Aaron Sorkin and Steven Zaillian).

Chadwick Boseman will play the legendary Jackie Robinson in 42, a biopic about Jackie Robinson. Harrison Ford (!) will play Branch Rickey (sorry, can’t see that). The movie is tentatively set for release next year, but somehow I doubt it will hit the screens before 2013.
