Back to bidness

July 18, 2011

Well, that week off didn’t go exactly as I’d hoped. I really expected to get a lot more done vis-a-vis 501Baseball Books. A trip to the main branch of the NY Public Library turned out to be disappointing although going into the city did give me the opportunity to spend some time with Jay Goldberg, owner of the Bergino Baseball Clubhouse.

For those of you living in or visiting the area near Union Square, drop by and see the neat items Goldberg has for sale, mostly of an eclectic and artsy nature. I’ll be writing much more about my own visit in the near future.

But now it’s time to shake off the vacation dust and return to regular postings. So before it’s too late, I wanted to mention, via Goldberg,”Play Ball,” an exhibition of more than 40 baseball artists at the Lancaster (PA) Museum of Art. The program runs through July 24, so you better hurry. I know I’m disappointed to be missing it.
