Intro: As previously stated, the recent election of Robert Alomar and Bert Blyleven got me to thinking: how many Hall of Famers have had books written about them or penned their own stories. Here are the results. Again, this is not an all-inclusive list; almost all juvenile titles have been omitted.

There are no titles about Perez, but he’s a staple about books on the Big Red Machine era of the early- to mid-1970s.

Ed Plank (1946)
There are no titles about Plank.

Alex Pompez (Negro Leagues Executive, 2006)

Cum Posey (Negro Leagues Executive, 2006)
There are no titles about Posey, although he is included in many books about the Negro Leagues.

Kirby Puckett (2001)
