A haul of Hall books: Pud Galvin to Tony Gwynn

Intro: As previously stated, the recent election of Robert Alomar and Bert Blyleven got me to thinking: how many Hall of Famers have had books written about them or penned their own stories. Here are the results. Again, this is not an all-inclusive list; almost all juvenile titles have been omitted.

Pud Galvin (Inducted 1965)
The are no titles for Galvin.

Lou Gehrig (1939)
Gehrig’s tragic and heroic story have been the subject for dozens of books for adults and kids, as well as a staple of Yankees books.

Josh Gibson (Negro Leagues, 1972)

Bob Gibson (1981)

Warren Giles (Executive, 1979)
There are no titles for Giles, but he’s included in books about baseball commissioners.

Pat Gillick (2011)
There are no titles for Gillick.

There are no titles for Gomez.

Joe Gordon (2009)
There are no titles for Gordon.

Goose Goslin (1968)
There are no titles for Goslin.
