Unrest in our nation’s capital

A little off-topic, but what is it with the folks in D.C? First they misspell the baseball team (multiple times), and now it’s the NBA Wizards?

From Regina, via Facebook:

“The way the Wizards have been playing lately, their players may want to hide under aliases! As one whose name is frequently misspelled (thanks to Littman Jewelers being in lots of shopping malls and Microsoft including their name but not mine in their default SpellChecker, as well as various well-known people named Lipman, Lippman, and Lippmann), I am sympathetic to misspellings and feel bad when I spell a name wrong. There were 3 people who came to prominence in the 1980s whose names I misspelled for the longest time: Lech Walesa (my spelling – Walsea), Anne Gorsuch (a notorious EPA administrator who married into another name during her tenure; my spelling – Gorusch), and a baseball one, Jose Canseco (my spelling – Canesco). All three were dyslexic types of misspellings.”
