Happy trails, Jim Edmonds

As much fun as this time of year can be, it can also be sad for those veteran players who were hoping to hang on for one more season and realize, for one reason or another, that they just can’t do it.

Jim Edmonds, the four-time All-Star, six time Gold Glove winner has called it a career. One day there will be a real book about him, until then, there’s this: Jim Edmonds /Cardinals Flipp Book.

In addition to his glove work, Edmonds was a good hitter: 393 home runs, 1,199 RBIs, and averages of .284//376/.527/.903, but is that enough for  Hall of Fame consideration?
