There has been some interest in first baseman Chris Davis from a few clubs, but it’s unclear if that will turn into anything.

Fans love/hate the winter meetings. They hope their team can pull off a great deal and get that sexy sligger of hoss pitcher than can put them over the top. Then there’s the Mets.

I can’t fathom deals like the one Jason Werth just received from the Washington Nationals. I couldn’t before, but especially not in this economic climate.
