Announcement: HoF seeking submissions for annual Film Festival

The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum will recognize the twin traditions of baseball and film when, for the fifth consecutive year, it hosts the Baseball Film Festival in Cooperstown, Oct. 1-3.

The Hall of Fame is accepting submissions for the 2010 Baseball Film Festival through Aug. 13. Films can be of any length and genre, but must have been released within the last five years and feature baseball as a primary or secondary theme.

To submit a film for consideration, please send the following: 3 DVD copies of the film, a short written synopsis, and filmmaker bios. Materials may be sent to:

Films selected for the festival will be shown at the Baseball Hall of Fame during the Baseball Film Festival Oct. 1-3. One copy of each film selected will enter the Hall of Fame’s archives.
