In his latest ramblings, Clemens claimed his family history of heart disease contraindicated the use of steroids.

“Our family has a history of heart conditions,” Clemens told Mike and Mike in the Morning this morning. “My brother had a heart attack in his late 40s. My stepdad died of a heart attack. I mean, it would be suicidal to even think about taking any of these dangerous drugs.”

I didn’t do too well in biology, but I don’t believe a step-parent counts towards one’s health legacy.
