This month’s issue of Boston magazine features 2008 Rookie of the Year Dustin Pedroia as the cover boy. “The Obsessive’s Guide to the Sox,” proclaims the banner.

Among the articles:

  • “67 Things You didn’t Know About the Local Nine.” Why 67? Something to do with the 1967 “Impossible Dream” team? The piece is actually titled “It Happened Here: An unobstructed view of the rabid fans, freak occurrences, architectural quirks, and history-making moments that have kept Fenway Park without rival for 96 years.”
  • “Trading Cards We’d Like to See.” The photos are standard head-shots, but the backs reveal little-known facts about some of your favorite Sox.
  • An ode to the Red Sox cap, of all things.
  • A profile of Justin Pedroia
