* Mitchell v. Radomski: Here we go again

January 21, 2009

There’s no better way than to give an undeserving, self-serving book publicity than to disparage it in the press.

That’s what Sen. George Mitchell is doing, giving the former batboy/drug supplier some added buzz (I’m somewhat embarrassed I can even recall his name without looking it up). That’s how Jose Canseco got a whole bunch of free publicity for Vindicated.

I know I don’t understand all the back-room discussion that went on in preparation for the Mitchell hearings eons ago, and that the distinguished gentleman wants to set the record straight. But by going back and forth via the press, he just does what this guy what wants: creates a curiosity and interest in what might otherwise slide under the radar.
