The Fresno Bee reports on the travails of Tony Mansolino, one of the thousands of minor leaguers whose dreams of getting to the bigs fails to materialize.
Mansolino turned his experience into Dreams Will Come, Dreams Will Go, a story for younger readers about a veteran bush leaguer who can’t get over the hump.
Mansolino created Play Ball Publishing in 2007 to provide “quality and authentic stories about our national pastime.” So far the book has been sold at minor league ballparks to a degree of critical success.
