According to this article in the Omaha World-Herald, St. Martin’s Press will publish “a book about the annual festivities inside and outside of Rosenblatt Stadium,” home of the NCAA College World Series. At least it is until it hosts its last one in 2010.
The book — entitled Omaha — will be written by Ryan McGee, a senior writer for ESPN The Magazine prior to next year’s CWS.
There’s so much that people don’t see,” McGee said. “And there’s no way I would have been able to know it from the press box. I had to get out there. Sitting in the stands, you get a feel for it.
