* A visit with Bill Werber

May 6, 2008

Eric Seidman takes a break from his statistical analysis to interview Bill Werber, the 99-year-old former New York Yankee and author

Reading the piece, I couldn’t help but wonder as to the accuracy of the tales told by the ex-ballplayer. Thanks a lot, Rob Neyer.

Nevertheless, Seidman does a sensitive job.

Werber’s memoirs are one of the best first hand accounts of baseball during that generation. Highly recommended…

I would like to know of an address that Mr. Werber can be reached at as I am a good friend of Lonnie Freys and he wishes at 98 to contact him by letter. If this is at all possible please address your response to Lonnie Frey care of Jeanine Huber at 7691 N. Sweet River Drive, Coeur d’ Alene Idaho 83815
